Walter Kilner's research and experiments with dicyanin dye is one of the main inspirations for the
Aura Glasses. There are however, many more inspirations which have helped us to develop the project and
bring them to people: such as Harold Saxton Burr, Annie Besant and Charles W. Leadbeater, to name a few.
He used dicyanin dye to view subtle energy fields through a doubled-glazed glass screen.
Dicyanin dye has very unusual molecular-sensitive attributes; possessing a fluorescent nature, and
is rich in photothermal chemicals. This mixture of qualities is what made it a suitable substance for
using to observe subtle energy fields.
While dicyanin dye was useful back then in the early 20th century, it was all that Walter Kilner could get hold of due to the limitations brought by the less developed scientific era of that period. The tools and data of modern chemistry allowed us to replicate the qualities of dicyanin, and possibly even make something more superior.
Our custom made dye is based on dicyanin's spectroscopy and complex chemical properties.
To achieve the best viewing results, it is very important that the instructions are followed properly and that
you are calm. Even Walter Kilner had to have the correct environmental conditions set up in order to see the aura, regardless of the dicyanin dye (he used the same set up as the one described in the Aura Glasses instruction sheet, however, he used candle light; simply because he did not have electricity in his home to use electric lighting).
1: Be calm
2: No over-expectations (see the picture of the 'aura hands' above of what to expect, and what not to expect)
3. A plain white background
4. Lighting (not too dull, yet not too bright)
I find that night time with an artificial light on is better than daylight, simply because sunlight is inconsistent with its luminosity, and can either be too dull or too bright, and therefore underwhelm or overwhelm the viewing.
With your Aura Glasses on, hold your hand out in front of yourself, just like a traffic warden would do to signal 'stop'. Do this with the plain white background behind it.
If you focus your vision on the very edge of your fingers, you will see a semi-transparent light blue energy emanating up to an inch from them. The energy is quite subtle, so look carefully. If you slowly move your hand around, you can see the aura trailing about with the motion of your hand!
Most people see it immediately, but if you don't see it at first, just keep practicing or feel free to contact me for some more tips: Once you see it, you'll think; "the darn thing was there all along!".... And you will see it every time from then onwards.
